Motion
‘Undergound Network’ is a self- directed animation project exploring analogue animation techniques, the imagery follows “physarum polycephalum’ an acellular slime mold, known for its broad geographic distripution and role as a decomposer within nature, consuming bacteria, fungi and rotting organic matter.
The animation was developed futher into a conceptual title sequence for Seven (1995), an American crime thriller directed by David Fincher.
A 56 frame cyanotype animation.
Each frame has been hand-printed, then colour graded and composed digitally with typographic elements.
